Music and Lyrics
This movie was actually rather fun to watch. A pretty feel good movie talking about a has-been 80s pop star trying to come back. Drew Barrymore was pretty cute in it too.

Spoilers: (Show)
This movie was very fun and cute. Alex Fletcher is an 80′s has-been and looks forward to doing shows in Knott’s Berry Farm every year. However, his chance of a lifetime comes along. Cora, the hottest pop star current, gives him a chance to write a song for a duet. However, Alex only knows how to write melodies and sucks at lyrics.
Along comes Drew Barrymore which gets together and magic starts.
I thought the most annoying parts of the movie was whenever Cora appeared. She really sucks at singing and dancing and she’s worse than Britney Spears (whom I’m guessing she’s parodying). I guess that was the point of the movie.
The ending was very sweet, but I won’t ruin it for you guys.
Do check out the music video they made for this video:
PoP! Goes My Heart – Music & Lyrics (from FuzzyWuzzy)
The song’s actually quite catchy, despite how funny it is. As FuzzyWuzzy says:
haha

oh god that’s the best fucking lyric ever!!!!
so new wave
