I on the other hand got it from playing too much FPS games. I started getting headaches after an 8 hour run with Jedi Knight.

i get 3d motion sickness too! why do you suppose some people get it and some don’t? liam has no problem with it, but maybe it’s because he’s been playing those games since he was young? i never really got introduced to them until i was older (mid-high school maybe?) anyway, hope you guys have a lot of fun this weekend!

I get pretty nauseous too! Now that you mention it, I do fare better a 3rd person shooters (i.e. Max Payne) and do horrible at most fast paced 1st person shooters (i.e. Unreal Tournament). I get so sick to the point I have a pounding headache within an hour and feel like throwing up.

Though the Halo series doesn’t seem to cause any problems for me.

Have you seen the 2D Flash version yet? I get awful motion sickness while playing first-person games and even most close-camera third-person games. I do much better with a wide or overhead view, ala Diablo. My sickness isn't just headache though; I get nauseous pretty quickly.
