While you read this, you should start listening to his conversation with 2 Verizon reps (a supervisor and the supervisor’s boss). So how hard is it to understand that “.002 cents” does not equal “.002 dollars”. I mean he even went from something like 2 dollars does not equal 2 cent (rep agrees); .2 dollars doesn’t equal .2 cents (rep agrees); .02 dollars doesn’t equal .02 cents (rep agrees). .002 dollars doesn’t equal .002 cents (rep argues they’re the same). To commemorate the release (and uh, to try and sell some Xbox 360s), Microsoft put together a special limited edition “Blue Dragon Core System Premium Pack,” which consists of an Xbox 360 Core System, a Blue Dragon faceplate, a set of five miniature figures and a mini-calendar. Oh, and a copy of Blue Dragon, of course. The amazing thing is that all of this only costs 29,800 yen–roughly $259 US dollars. Incredibly cheap, yes, but considering most Japanese gamers wouldn’t go within 50 feet of an Xbox 360 if you paid them, this kind of drastic pricing seems necessary.

Drools… Interestingly enough, demand for the Xbox 360 has actually increased quite a bit in Japan due to the release of this game.
